What we collect and why

When you request a subscription, we collect your email, language, referral source when included in the link, request date, confirmation date and consent version. We use this information to manage the club and send cases, news and promotional updates about the books.

To prevent abuse, a cryptographic identifier of your IP address is stored temporarily. The application does not store the IP in plain text; the hosting provider may keep its own technical security logs.

Your choice

Your consent is the basis for the subscription. The checkbox is not selected in advance, and you must confirm through the emailed link. Visiting this website or opening a link does not subscribe you. The sample case is also available without subscribing.

Retention

Unconfirmed requests expire after 48 hours and are deleted within 7 days. Subscriber data is retained while the subscription is active. Unsubscribing immediately excludes the address from mailings, and the data is deleted within 30 days unless a specific legal retention duty applies. Request-limiting records are deleted after 7 days.

Providers and recipients

Hostinger provides hosting and email services. We manage campaigns using phpList, installed on our own Hostinger hosting account. The website and campaign manager synchronize confirmed subscriptions and unsubscribes. We do not sell contacts or share them with advertisers. If providers or international transfers change, this information will be updated before the change.

Your rights and unsubscribing

You can withdraw consent using the unsubscribe link in your email, or request access, correction, deletion, objection, restriction or portability by emailing info@sudoku-detective.com. You can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency.

Cookies and external links

This version has no third-party advertising, tracking pixels or external analytics. A necessary session cookie helps prevent fraudulent form requests. Amazon links open an independent website with its own privacy terms.
